Our Apprentice enhances significantly their personal, social and economic well-being and extends their employability and practical skills well. Good and effective working between assessors, employers and the management team and their close involvement in the learning of apprentices ensure learners enjoy their programmes and make good progress. We are conducting seminars by arranging guest speakers from UK larger employers for our students during their learning journey. Our teaching also includes the employability skills modules in our study skills lessons for our learners to get awareness in meeting and local and national needs. We also offer functional skills in English, Mathematics and ICT d during theapprorinceship programme for our learners to help the employers to

  • promote a training plan that reflects the apprentice’s needs
  • Get o most suitable apprenticeship for their business requirements
  • recruit and select an apprentice with appropriate pre requisites

LVC make sure that our employer offering an apprenticeship you need to:

  • employ an apprentice for a minimum of 30 hours per week
  • pay at least the national minimum wage for apprentices
  • induct the apprentice and support their on-the-job learning using skills and knowledge in the workforce
  • be involved in reviewing the progress of an apprentice

LVC encompasses the following in the content of the standards

  • on-the-job coaching and learning
  • off-the-job learning
  • employer induction and training
  • online learning and support
  • workbooks
  • projects
  • mentoring and line management support

LVC challenges are to formulate a robust annual monitoring process to maintain the standard achievement rates of 65 % expected by the government. Also review destination of leavers’ data to represent good value for money provided by the Agency. We comply with section B of the Ofsted guidance on inspection for employers delivering apprenticeship. We intend to provide the following standards.
