Turing Scheme
The Turing scheme provides funding for international opportunities in education and training across the world. Supporting the government’s Global Britain objectives, the Turing Scheme unlocks the opportunity for UK organisations to offer experiences across the world for their students, learners and pupils.
This funding allows London Vocational college to provide learners with the chance to gain new vocational skills, build their confidence, gain international work experience, improve technical skills, learn about new cultures and languages which helps boost their employability. The program also increases the opportunity for learners to work abroad in future.
Duration:
- 2 to 3 weeks
Eligibility:
- Aged 18+ and
- Must have recently completed or currently on vocational training
Destinations include:
- Turkey
- Portugal
- Spain
Funding covers:
- Return flight
- Health insurance
- Training expenses
- Certificates
- Accommodation for duration of placement
- Cultural visits
- Language lessons
- Tours & sight seeing
- Weekly allowance
